THOUGHTS UNTOLD...Starting a blog..
The first thing that crossed my mind when I thought about writing is that I'll get a space where my thoughts and feelings are validated, a space where I'm not judged and a place where I can convey things raw and unfiltered..
Writing became a part of my life unexpectedly, because it helps me heal, it helps me feel seen....But starting a blog was never in my plans until my therapist suggested it.
As a reader I've always felt comfort in words that mirrored my own feelings..I felt connected , visible and reassured when I read relatable content.. This is the space where I want to create that sense of feeling. A kind of reassurance to the reader that you're not alone.
Here, I want to write about things that are often not talked about or hidden. I would like to write about how it feels to live with depression, anxiety, trauma and an autoimmune condition... How important our mental and physical well being is...These are the things which we normally don't say out loud. These are the things which are often hidden.. But these voices should be heard loud because most of us are fighting unseen battles..
These should be heard loud so that we can understand each other and contribute to the world so that it becomes a better place..
